Thomas Kirengo is co-founder & CEO of Imara Mediplus Hospital. His fields of interest are surgery, healthcare entrepreneurship, and innovation. Imara Mediplus is a multi-specialty healthcare facility founded and managed by doctors, focused on providing access to health and wellness services. The company exists to conveniently provide high-quality & professional medical services without the worry of cost to low and middle-income earners living in secondary geographies and cities in Kenya. IMH currently operates a 24hr outpatient medical facility in the centre of Embu Town Kenya, serving the greater Mt. Kenya region, a population of 10 million people. He is an alumnus of the Stanford Seed Business Accelerator Program EA by the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is currently completing an MBA in Health, Leadership, and Management at USIU-Africa & MSc in Surgical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh.
